_ After completing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Cambridge and working on my Master’s project with Sasha Turchyn, I started a PhD at UCL with Graham Shields. I am interested in animal evolution and carbonate formation in the Ediacaran, and specifically, the link between the two. During my PhD I will undertake fieldwork in China and Namibia. I will also be helping out with teaching at UCL, demonstrating on the first year field trip to Dorset and courses on surface processes. Outside of University I have spent time managing a bar and organizing University and department outreach programs.
